Position Summary: Southwest Electrical Contracting Services is seeking a motivated Building Automation System (BAS) Installer Helper to support our installation team with commercial and industrial automation projects. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in electrical or building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the installation of BAS controls, panels, and devices
• Run conduit, pull wire, and organize materials on job sites
• Support lead installers and technicians with daily tasks
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Follow safety policies and OSHA guidelines at all times
• Load/unload tools, equipment, and materials
• Learn BAS systems, electrical practices, and installation techniques
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications

• Meets SWECS minimum eligibility requirements for a new hire
• Possesses a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Has access to reliable transportation
• Maintains an excellent record of attendance
• Maintains a minimum required tool list
• Able to work in construction environments (indoors/outdoors, ladders, lifts, etc.)
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred
• Prior electrical or construction experience is a plus but not required
