Bartender Walters Wedding Estates – work in a unique environment that positively impacts the most important event in a couple’s life. Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking bartenders with a passion for providing excellent hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar and ensure it is fully equipped with the tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
• Ensure the bar is stocked with the correct alcohol and quantities ordered.
• Fully comply with TABC procedures for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Interact with customers and take drink orders.
• Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with venue recipes.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and, if required, refuse further service in a polite way while keeping management informed.
• Maintain liquor inventory by counting and reporting the remaining alcohol at the end of the shift.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Break down the bar and clean the work station, including taking out the trash, wiping counters, and mopping the floor.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar bartending role with comparable responsibilities (preferred).
• Applicable work history, TABC certification, and Food Handler’s license required in Texas.
• Physical ability to lift 30 lb frequently and stand/walk 8–12 hours per shift.
• Submit/complete background check; possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E‑Verify.

Compensation & Schedule

• Part‑time position; work weekends, holidays, and evenings when events take place.
• Hourly wage: $12 per hour plus tips.
• 401(k) with 4 % match.
