Bartender - Sports Bar

Responsibilities

• Prepares drinks correctly for guests at the bar and beverage servers.
• Serves alcohol according to company alcohol policy.
• Maintains par levels related to inventory ordering and restocking as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized bar.
• Fulfills company policies related to dealing with received revenue, signing out banks or drawers, and closing out revenue centers.
• Ensures the safety and security of team members and guests.
• Daily maintenance of all bar equipment and POS systems.
• Affirms adherence to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of all promotions and events.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Successfully completed TIPS training and received a Basset Card.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reads, writes, speaks, and understands English.
• Able to work flexible shifts.
• Knowledge of all bar equipment usage, Alcohol Beverage Control regulations, and gaming laws.
• Ability to professionally handle situations involving intoxicated guests.
• Operates in mentally and physically stressful situations.

Physical Demands

• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
• Able to lift up to 40#.
• Stretch, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time.

Environmental Conditions

• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
