About the role

As a Bartender/Server at our rooftop bar, you are a master mixologist—part artist, part mad scientist. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with guests and restaurant staff. A natural-born listener and inquirer, you anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and create exceptional experiences. You’ll craft fabulous drinks, maintain positive guest relations, and ensure a safe, welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, regardless of busyness or time of day.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times and resolve complaints to exceed guest expectations.
• Adhere to hotel requirements for guest and team member accidents, injuries, and emergency situations.
• Promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts continuously.
• Greet guests and introduce them to menu options and specials.
• Plan drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and promotions.
• Take orders from guests or wait staff as required.
• Maintain and clean the bar area and equipment.
• Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to customers.
• Check identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Take inventory and order supplies to keep the bar and tables well-stocked.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately, balancing the cash register.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws, preventing over-serving and verifying legal drinking age.
• Report accidents and breakages to the F&B Manager or Executive Chef.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Stay updated on safety issues and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Work safely and follow OSHA regulations and hotel accident/incident reporting procedures.
• Inspect, plan, and ensure all materials and equipment are ready for service.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance and proper use.
• Comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 1 year of bartending experience.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• State Alcohol Server Certification.

Pay

$16 per hour + tips.
