Bartender/Server (Lead) - Doubletree Phoenix Midtown

Position Summary DoubleTree by Hilton is seeking a motivated and experienced Bartender / Server (Lead) to support the daily operations of the restaurant, lounge, and bar while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This hands-on leadership role combines bartending and serving responsibilities with team supervision, training, and operational oversight. The ideal candidate leads by example, ensures service excellence, and maintains Hilton hospitality standards. Key Responsibilities Leadership Lead and support bartenders, servers, and food runners during assigned shifts. Train, coach, and mentor team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest engagement. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback. Assist management in resolving guest concerns and service recovery situations. Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and alcohol service regulations. Bartending & Service Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and brand standards. Provide exceptional table and bar service to guests. Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily reconciliation procedures. Promote menu items, specials, and beverage offerings to increase sales. Operations Assist with opening and closing procedures. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all service and bar areas. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs. Support banquet and special event operations as needed. Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and local health department requirements.
