About the role
Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in a personable, professional, and fast-paced environment.
This is a seasonal role from September 25, 2026, to September 27, 2026, with an hourly rate of $3.63 and tip eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellence in guest service, coworker interaction, and uniform standards.
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide service as described.
- Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state/federal regulations.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits to suggestively upsell products to guests.
- Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size.
- Verify guest IDs to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol purchase.
- Communicate cut-off to guests as required and de-escalate intoxicated guest situations.
- Contact management or security for confrontational or belligerent guests.
- Request and restock products as needed and maintain the issued bank at the bar.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is well-maintained.
- Assist with setting up, breaking down bar equipment, and organizing the cooler as required.
Requirements
- Six months or more of bartending experience.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; bartending school preferred.
- Accurate cash handling skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
Pay
Hourly rate of $3.63, plus tips.
