Bartender - PT Weekends

Position Overview

This position will be located at the Seaire Lagoon in Parrish, which is currently open limited hours on weekends and is only serving canned beverages (alcoholic/non alcoholic). The lagoon is anticipated to fully open with permanent bar locations in the Spring of 2027. At that time this role may expand to weekday shifts as well as weekends, and the need will be a person that is able to make and serve mixed drinks and other alcoholic beverages, and maintain a well-run bar area.

What You Will Do

• Verify identification and age eligibility before alcohol service
• Monitor guest consumption and refuse or discontinue service when required
• Accurately enter orders, process payments, issue receipts, and safeguard cash and credentials
• Communicate product shortages, guest concerns, suspected impairment, and safety issues promptly
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Previous bartender experience preferred – 2 years of experience or more is desired
• Food & Beverage Safety certifications (We will provide certification if needed)
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21+ preferred)
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service, standard drink recipes, and cash handling
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Commitment to courteous, attentive, and solution-oriented guest service
• Outstanding communication, customer service and cash handling skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using Focus or similar POS system a plus

Work Setting and Schedule

Currently work is performed in a tent or other outbuilding, and you will be exposed to all elements including sun, rain, wind, heat, humidity, and cold.

Physical Expectations

Regularly stands for extended periods; frequently reach, grip, bend, and work around wet surfaces and glassware; must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

Pay will be $14.00 + tips until such time that the bar area(s) open, at which time the pay will be $10.98 + tips.
