Responsibilities

• Ensures a seamless guest experience.
• Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients such as wine, mixed drinks, specialty cocktails, shots, and related bar service to guests at assigned stations.
• Expedites drink orders quickly and accurately.
• Serves refills upon request and follows up for additional beverage requirements.
• Possesses a keen sense of timing and is capable of discreetly speeding up or slowing down service as necessary.
• Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes; keeps station stocked with all liquor, glasses, and accessories necessary.
• Accounts for all beginning cash register bank, cash, complimentary drinks, and charge receipts.
• Resourceful with beverages, fruit, and supplies to maintain low beverage costs.
• Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
• Initiates and maintains a relaxed and upbeat demeanor in a fast-paced environment with loud music and constant distractions.
• Communicates and works with all support staff to ensure the bar is properly stocked and prepared for operations.
• Ensures inventory is maintained at established par levels.
• Maintains a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities and tasks.

Requirements

• Exceptional personality and hospitality-driven attitude.
• Polished, professional, friendly, dynamic, and able to multitask.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle numerous tasks at a time.
• Able to take initiative in a VIP-driven and guest-service-focused environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a contemporary dining restaurant (preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight (8)-hour shifts and work inside the assigned bar area.
• Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb, and carry objects as necessary.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25-50 pounds.
• Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based on business volumes.
• Must provide documentation showing authorization to work in the United States.
• ANSI-approved Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service certificate recognized by the ABC.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a high-end, service-focused environment.
• It is the employee’s responsibility to secure and maintain the current status of all required certificates, licenses, or registrations when required by local, state, or federal government agencies.
