Bartender (Part Time)

About the role

Join our team as a Bartender at Indian Wells Resort Hotel, where you’ll craft unforgettable experiences by preparing perfect drinks, maintaining a welcoming bar environment, and delivering outstanding hospitality. You’ll work with a supportive team in a fast‑paced setting, handling transactions, inventory, and compliance with safety and alcohol regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with guests, creating a welcoming environment from the moment they step up to the bar.
• Craft and serve beverages according to established recipes and portion controls, ensuring each drink is made to perfection.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, keeping it inviting and efficient.
• Monitor and manage inventory to control costs and ensure a seamless operation.
• Comply with all safety and alcohol regulations, including checking IDs and serving responsibly.
• Handle transactions accurately, always ringing transactions, providing receipts and thanking guests with a smile.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the bar running smoothly, performing both opening and closing duties.
• Stay knowledgeable about offerings and engage in up‑selling to enhance the guest experience.
• Be familiar with the operation of the P.O.S. system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• 1+ year of bartending experience in a hotel or bar/restaurant preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Unexpired Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor and delivering exceptional service.
• Knowledge of call and well brand liquors, wines, and beers a plus.
• Flexible availability.

Hourly pay: $16.90
