About the Role

Mixes and serves beverages for customers according to established guest service standards. Engages with guests and team members by smiling, displaying energy, and using open body language. Proactively greets and provides service, ensuring a positive parting remark to end each interaction.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests immediately.
• Takes drink and/or food orders from customers or beverage servers.
• Inspects guest identification to ensure compliance with legal age limits for alcohol consumption.
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines.
• Collects payment and follows cash handling procedures.
• Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
• Washes glasses.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary bar area.
• Resolves guest complaints.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of related experience preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of beverage order processing systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Regularly required to see, talk, or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to walk; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to count.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast-paced work conditions.
• Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment.
