Main Duties

  • Craft classic and creative alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Engage with customers and ensure memorable experiences
  • Create a diverse range of handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages
  • Continually innovate and introduce new and exciting drink creations
  • Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming guests, engaging in friendly and professional conversation, and understanding their preferences
  • Efficiently and accurately take drink orders, prepare them promptly, and serve beverages with attention to detail and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all glassware, utensils, and bar tools are sanitized and readily available
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, including adhering to work schedules, dress code, and attendance guidelines
  • Perform opening side work and set up station
  • Attend and participate in any training sessions, department meetings
  • Properly execute closing procedures
  • Ensure all perishable items used behind the bar are labeled/dated and responsible for rotating and throwing away to maintain quality control
  • Provide guest check promptly and returns receipt promptly
  • Keep all service and table areas clean, organized, and stocked
  • Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact respectable conversation and smiling
  • Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
  • Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by federal and state guidelines
  • Have knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol
  • Perform other related activities as assigned by management
  • Guarantee neat and quality service
  • Participate in daily shift meetings
  • Follow company cash handling and payment tendering procedures with care
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Embody the 1 Hotels Vision, Mission and Compass; deliver on Our Promise, provide Good-Natured Service and uphold our Brand Pillars

Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior bartending experience
  • Proficient in verbal and written English communication
  • Organized and proficient at multitasking
  • A reliable team player willing to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Food Handling certification (can be obtained during employment)
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
