Bartender (Harrah's Philadelphia)

Responsibilities

• Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients.
• Operates a cash register or POS system, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving guest or waiter/waitress the correct change.
• Maintains a respectful control over guests at all times.
• Resourceful with all beverages, fruit, and supplies in order to maintain low beverage costs.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines and as outlined in PRIDE certification.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of operating cash register, MICROS or other POS systems and bar equipment.
• Is fluent on Microsoft Office software products, and is viewed as an outstanding team player.
• Able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
