About the role

Responsibilities

• Aid servers, other bartenders, and bar porters as needed.
• Communicate pertinent information to other departments.
• Maintain open lines of communication with all departments.
• Be available to assist other departments during emergencies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards.
• Strong knowledge of drink preparation and applicable health standards.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations regarding serving alcohol.
• Basic computational ability.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of the hotel's services and facilities.
• Familiarity with all menu items.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate all equipment related to the outlet, including coffee makers and cash terminals.
• Ability to work in various temperature conditions, including freezers and kitchens.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment and supplies.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certification.
