Bartender - Great Legs Wine + Spirits & Axle's Garage Tap

About the role

In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team at Great Legs Wine + Spirits and Axle’s Garage Tap, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. As the Bartender, you will guide patrons to the perfect beer or wine selection, demonstrate knowledge of wine and beer, and handle cash/credit transactions. You’ll maintain a clean and organized bar while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take customers’ drink orders
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered to each guest in a timely manner
• Make and serve drinks following established guidelines, procedures, and policies regarding beverage and safety controls
• Control allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and legibly documenting all required information
• Process payments from guests and ensure accuracy of guest checks and method of payment
• Create a pleasurable dining experience for all guests

Requirements

• You are 18 years or older
• Basic math skills (able to add, subtract, and count change back to customer)
• Legible handwriting
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills
• Valid Operator's License
• U.S. Work Authorization (required)

Qualifications

• Wine experience and/or certification (preferred)
• One year bartending experience (preferred)

Pay

$8 - $15 per hour depending on shift
