Bartender – Grand Gardner Hotel

About the role

The Bartender will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service with a focus on professional beverage preparation and hospitality in the restaurant and outlet areas. This role involves managing liquor inventory, preparing garnishes, and maintaining a deep knowledge of wine, beer, and specialty cocktails to offer pairing suggestions. The Bartender ensures accurate billing through the POS system, maintains a clean and organized workstation, and collaborates closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to foster a warm and gracious atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service with a focus on professional beverage preparation and hospitality in the restaurant and outlet areas.
• Manage liquor inventory, prepare garnishes, and maintain a deep knowledge of wine, beer, and specialty cocktails to offer pairing suggestions.
• Ensure accurate billing through the POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to foster a warm and gracious atmosphere.

Requirements

• A thorough understanding of safe serving practices.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• The ability to work efficiently during peak hours.
• Significant physical requirements including the ability to lift up to 80 pounds, carry 50-pound service trays, and stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
• Previous experience in a high-end bar or boutique hotel environment is preferred.
