Bartender- Full-Time- The Dime- Renaissance Allentown

Part-time bartender role at The Dime, Renaissance Allentown. Starting pay $5.50/hour; flexible hours required. Must pass a criminal background check.

About the Role

As a Bartender at The Dime, you’ll create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while crafting cocktails, pouring drinks, and delivering excellent service. You’ll balance speed, accuracy, and personality to ensure every guest has a memorable experience at the bar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine, and beer selections.
• Check identification and adhere to all responsible service guidelines.
• Keep the bar area stocked, clean, and organized throughout service.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of mixology, drink presentation, and sanitation practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8+ hours).
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Manual dexterity to handle kitchen tools and equipment safely.
