As a Bartender at The Greystone Inn, you are the face of our bar area, creating a fun and welcoming environment for our patrons. If you are reliable, work with a sense of urgency, and interact well with customers, you will be very successful in “wow”ing our guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel valued
- Have a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage menus, making suggestions and producing quality drinks
- Stay up to date with beverage trends
- Build good rapport with our regulars, keeping relationships professional and personalized
- Opening and closing responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- 21 or older
- Experienced in one year or more of bartending experience
- Working well in a team setting, including with other employees including front and back end of the house
- Good sense of judgment and assessment in ability to interact with customers who are drinking
- Keen aware of surroundings and observational skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to stand throughout shift and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
- Ability to navigate steps/stairs on a regular basis
