We are searching for a hospitality focused Bartender to join our team at Independent Living facility on campus. Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week. Shifts are 11am-7:30pm, open availability is preferred. Compensation: $21.63 per hour, plus benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental, Employee Assistance Program, 23 days per year of Paid Time Off) Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Bartender: Prepares and serves beverages including cocktails, wine, and beer to residents and guests, adhering to all state and local regulations regarding alcohol serviceServes food to residents and guestsMaintains weekly inventory of beverages, bar items, and supplies; submits list of needed items to Food and Beverage DirectorPrepares garnishes for bar useMaintains a neat and orderly appearance of the lounge, wine room, and work station at all timesCommunicates resident and guest concerns to managementAssists in maintaining and achieving departmental sanitation standards and goalsFollows all relevant laws and regulations Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to; re-stocking, organizing bar items, various cleaning duties etc. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Must be at least 21 years of ageAbility to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor, and peersExperience bartending in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining experience strongly preferredMust be able to perform the physical functions of the job; standing and walking up to 90% of the day, may be required to lift up to 50 lbs regularly If you're an enthusiastic, compassionate, senior care professional who is passionate about hospitality and senior engagement- please apply, we'd love to get to know you! #non-clinical EEO Employer
