Bartender

About the role

Bistro Bartender responsible for completing opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the workspace.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
• Take orders from customers, input orders into micros, process payments, and provide change.
• Communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Prepare food, coffee, other beverages (including alcohol), and ingredients for cooking.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, presentation standards, and checklists.
• Provide assistance in food and beverage areas, including busing tables, delivering food, and cleaning prep areas.
• Count bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure bank.
• Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
