Bartender

About the role

The Bartender position at Vision Hospitality Group is a part-time role that requires a strong commitment to our culture of entrepreneurship, teamwork, and continuous learning. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can assist in various tasks and promote internal growth programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages and/or food to guests
• Achieve and exceed company goals and three metrics
• Complete all required training
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and property-specific brand standards
• Aid in the better operation of the hotel and service to guests
• Provide personalized, friendly service to each guest
• Greet guests and respond to inquiries and requests
• Mix and garnish beverages according to recipes and portion control standards
• Present and serve beverages to guests
• Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with laws and regulations
• Accurately total, process, and collect payments from guests
• Stock and maintain bar inventory
• Ensure product quality of all beverage-related perishables

• Safety and security responsibilities
• Effective communication skills
• Flexible scheduling ability
• Physical abilities (bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, stretching, lifting up to 25 pounds)
• Visual acuity for near and far vision
• Ability to work in a restricted space/environment for 8 hours
• Ability to handle heat and stress
• Basic hearing and speaking abilities
• Ability to operate equipment and write clearly
