About the Role

The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. Additionally, Twin Peaks Girls sell food and beverages while embodying knowledge of sports, food, and beverages, maintaining a fun, energetic personality, and adhering to Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines.

The Costume

The Twin Peaks Girl costume is central to the Twin Peaks concept. Employees must comply with Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines while working. Occasionally, Twin Peaks promotes optional costume parties. Participation is voluntary, and employees may choose to wear the standard costume instead. If participating, employees must follow the specific costume guidelines for the event and provide their own themed costume. Proprietary costumes or items issued by the company may never be worn outside the restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Image & Costume Guidelines.
  • Interact with and entertain guests to enhance their experience.
  • Promote events and specials to support business profitability.
  • Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, suggestive selling, pre-bussing tables, and settling checks accurately.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading and understanding the menu, writing and ringing in tickets, and operating a computerized register system.
  • Ability to suggestively sell menu items and entertain guests through effective communication.
  • Apply common sense and understanding to follow simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations.
  • Perform basic mathematical computations for accurate check settlement and change calculation.
  • Attend and successfully complete orientation, Twin Peaks Girl training, and any required local/state certifications (e.g., food and alcohol service). Maintain certifications during employment.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and communicate verbally.
  • Frequently reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Work Environment

  • Regular exposure to kitchen fumes or airborne particles.
  • Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler).
  • Potential exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals from cleaning products.
  • Loud noise levels typical of the restaurant environment.
  • Possible exposure to cigarette or cigar smoke in locations with smoking sections.

Additional Notes

  • Twin Peaks maintains an all-female serving staff, and employees must meet and maintain Image & Costume Guidelines.
  • Performance-Based Scheduling is used, including a ranking system to determine section assignments.
  • Policies restrict harassment, fraternization, and drug/alcohol abuse.
  • Failure to adhere to job duties, including Image & Costume Guidelines, may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
