Bartender
Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is recruiting for part-time associates for Bartender team members in our Food & Beverage department at Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky. Our business is event-based and our labor needs vary widely from week to week and event to event. For this reason, all of our part-time positions are “as needed” and we cannot offer employees consistent schedules or a guaranteed number of hours per week.
This position is required to pass a credit and background check.
Responsibilities
- Be at work and in proper uniform according to scheduled time.
- Follow instructions for each event as given by the Supervisor, Concession, or Catering Manager.
- Greet and speak to all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
- Serve alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
- Answer guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
- Assist with collecting and returning all bar equipment, including cups, glassware, and serving pieces for each event.
- Assist with preparing garnishes and specialty alcoholic beverages.
- Assist with preparation and set-up of event room/space.
- Prepare tables with place settings as instructed by Supervisor and/or Manager.
- Attend pre-function meetings for briefing of event details.
- Provide the highest level of service in accordance with our standards.
- Identify drink orders when ready and deliver items to tables in a timely manner.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Communicate with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Report any customer concerns and/or complaints to Manager or Supervisory.
- Maintain professional relationships with all coworkers.
- Follow checklists and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
- Maintain full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information.
- Constantly increase knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
- Ensure that guests have a positive and memorable experience at each event.
- Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
- Prepare work area for either opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards.
- Break down tables and equipment after each event, returning equipment and service ware to proper storage location.
- Punch clock in full uniform, ready to work, and no earlier than five minutes prior to shift.
- Perform duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of specified departments and personnel. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global policies and applicable laws.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of serving experience.
- TIPS or TEAM Certified.
Skills

Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
