Bartender

Raintree Golf and Event Center in Uniontown, OH, is seeking a motivated seasonal part-time Bartender to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests while growing their knowledge of golf club operations. As part of Troon, you’ll join a global leader in golf and community management.

About the role

Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages.
• Assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicates supply needs to management.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of bartending experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
