Responsibilities
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Serve wine draught, bottled beer, non-alcoholic beverages and food.
- Collect money for drinks served.
- Order and requisition liquors and supplies.
- Stock and replenish glasses, beverages, mixes, fruit, and guest supplies.
- Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.
- Wash glasses, bar, and equipment.
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks; prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese and cold meats.
- Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
- If functioning in a Lead Capacity: (a) take responsibility for assigned associates in the absence of the Supervisor, (b) assign work, and ensure proper performance of assigned associates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong mixology skills with knowledge of a wide range of beverages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and responsible alcohol service.
- Positive, guest-focused attitude and a proactive approach to hospitality.
- Team player with the ability to lead when required.
- Attention to detail in presentation and inventory management.
Academic Background
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- TIPS certification or equivalent required.
Position Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.
