The Vineta Hotel, located in the heart of Palm Beach, has been restored to its former splendor and is reopening in its original 1926 Mediterranean Revival landmark location, just two blocks from Worth Avenue. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally in the pool area, providing personalized suggestions based on the menu to ensure a memorable experience.
• Prepare and mix drinks, serve at the bar, and fulfill orders from servers.
• Monitor guest needs, proactively offer refills, additional services, or special promotions, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process guest orders through the restaurant’s POS system, ensuring accurate billing and adherence to credit and cash handling policies while noting special requests.
• Collaborate with pool servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and other departments to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely service, contributing to a personalized guest journey.
• Follow safety protocols, including poolside regulations and legal requirements for alcohol service, such as ID verification and responsible alcohol service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area by stocking supplies, picking up empty glasses, and ensuring proper storage.
• Inspire creativity, commitment to service excellence, and a gracious hospitality ethos to enhance the restaurant’s luxury ambiance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role with an understanding of luxury hotel service standards.
• Full-time position with the ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining departmental equipment, including POS systems.
• Outstanding ability to build and maintain relationships, recognize regular guests, and create a naturally positive, lasting impression.
• In-depth knowledge of standard mixed drinks, shots, wine, beer, spirits, and other bar beverages.
• Fluency in English.
• Physical ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during a shift, with frequent exposure to heat, standing, talking, and walking.
