Bartender

Responsibilities

• Complete opening side work as assigned
• Ensure bar cleanliness, menu cleanliness, and overall dining area maintenance
• Demonstrate proper menu, product, and resort knowledge
• Obtain proper guest billing information (guest name and room number)
• Take beverage orders from guests
• Complete age verification when necessary
• Prepare drinks according to recipe and standard procedures
• Deliver beverages to guests
• Demonstrate knowledge of wine presentation
• Exhibit proper selling techniques
• Take food orders using Point of Sale (POS) system
• Check food and beverage presentation to guests in a timely fashion
• Collect payment for checks promptly
• Handle guest concerns and issues, escalating to management immediately when needed
• Complete closing side work and end-of-shift paperwork
• Attend required trainings and meetings
• Participate in TIPS training
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay

$10.70/hour plus gratuities in restaurants, $23/hour for events
