About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Back Server to join our team, reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Managers. In this fast-paced role, you will manage multiple tasks with efficiency and independence, ensuring every guest experience is extraordinary. Your attention to detail and customer-focused approach will uphold our high standards of service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage a bar section while upholding Company standards and quality control.
- Adhere to health and safety policies, including IIPP, worker’s comp procedures, and allergy protocols.
- Serve guests craft cocktails and food-forward dishes, offering pairing options and promoting upsell opportunities.
- Uphold Mystery Shopper guidelines and all Service Standards.
- Assist management with recruiting, training, and problem-solving during busy services.
- Maintain a positive, customer-oriented, and sales-minded attitude.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
- Complete daily opening, turnover, and closing checklists.
- Manage product rotation for fruit, purees, milks, juices, syrups, infusions, bitters, and seasonal fruit.
- Maintain and update wine & spirit inventory sheets as needed.
- Communicate changes to wines by the glass to front-of-house staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Previous experience as a Bartender, Lead Bartender, or Server/Bartender in a high-volume, craft-cocktail establishment.
- Proven ability to champion company culture, facilitate excellent communication, and engage with teams.
- Team-focused mindset with an understanding of how your role contributes to the bigger picture.
- Ability to manage different stakeholders and be persuasive.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
- Capable of working on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Fast-paced movements required to navigate the club.
- Ability to move, pull, carry, or lift 20 to 60 pounds.
- Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing, including use of a step ladder.
