Responsibilities

  • Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
  • Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes.
  • Ring drink orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served and make change.
  • Wash and sterilize glasses, stemware, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, refusing to serve additional alcoholic beverages, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
  • Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies.
  • Never touch clean dishes after touching dirty dishes without washing hands first.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate.
  • Active participation in events, programs, meetings, and training.
  • Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response.
  • Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days, and evenings.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to read/understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, Associates, members, and the public.
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Experience & Certifications

  • Minimum two (2) years of bartending experience preferred.
  • State Food Handler Certification.
  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) state certification.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay

Estimated Base Pay Range: $18.47 - $25.00 / hour

*Offered to Full-Time associates. Full-Time status eligibility starting at 25 average hours of work per week.
