Bartender

About the Role

Bartenders are responsible for taking orders and serving food and drinks to customers with a positive attitude, ensuring the bar is served properly, and collecting all payments.

Responsibilities

• Take drink and food orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of the menu with the ability to upsell and make suggestions
• Accurately count inventory on the last day of the month

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree preferred
• Restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Working knowledge of sanitation procedures
• Must have a flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season
• Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
• Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
• Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed
