Bartender

About the role

SSP America operates several restaurants throughout the General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, WI. Bartenders engage with guests while serving hand‑crafted beverages and delicious food, stay up‑to‑date on industry trends, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from customers and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, hot drinks, and a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Maintain a clean work area throughout the day, including cleaning equipment and utensils, removing trash, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general sanitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• At least one year of bartending experience, including certification by a state, federal, or local training program.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills for operating a cash register, making change, totaling guest checks, handling cash drops, and understanding weights and measurements.

Pay

$6.00 per hour plus tips; full‑time position.
