Bartender

About the role

We’re looking for welcoming ambassadors to join our team as Bartenders in a flexible, part-time role. This position is perfect for someone looking to support local arts and community events while providing top-notch service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer questions, and serve beverages professionally and courteously.
• Set up and clean beverage stations before and after events.
• Check IDs, ensure legal alcohol service, and handle guest situations with poise.
• Manage cash transactions, balance receipts, and complete required forms.
• Communicate with staff via radio and attend occasional meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain a City of Hartford bartending license.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Mixology experience is a plus.

Pay

Starting at $15.00/hour plus tips.

Benefits

Eligible for SIMPLE IRA after $5,000 earned annually.

Schedule

Occasional part-time (6-month probationary period applies).
