Bartender

About the role

The Ashbrook Hotel is seeking an Experienced Bartender to join their hospitality team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craft, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that exceptional service is just as important as a perfectly balanced cocktail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard recipes and guest preferences
• Provide attentive, knowledgeable service while building rapport with guests
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
• Manage bar inventory, including restocking and monitoring product levels
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Ensure compliance with all local alcohol laws and hotel policies
• Collaborate with the broader food & beverage team to ensure seamless service

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale setting
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• TIPS or equivalent certification preferred
