Bartender

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink menus and specials.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste responsibly.
• Check identification of customers to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Handle credit, and debit transactions accurately and securely.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy hours.
• Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies, reporting any shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe environment for both employees and customers.
• Attend to customer complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
• Must be at least [insert legal age] years of age.
• Certification in bartending or responsible beverage service may be preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay
