Responsibilities

The Bartender's responsibility is to provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests and to support the service staff by providing quality beverages in a prompt manner.

Requirements

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have 1 year of bartending experience, including beer, spirits/cocktails, and wine service.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass the federally mandated E-Verify process.
• Must obtain an Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) serving permit within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests.
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Possess basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Be able to safely lift and maneuver trays weighing up to 20 to 30 pounds.
• Must be self-disciplined, take initiative, and have leadership skills.
• Must be outgoing, with a pleasant, polite manner and a neat, clean appearance.
• Must be able to multitask, handle pressures of coordinating a wide range of activities, and recommend solutions to restaurant problems.

Pay

$7.25/hr + tips. Tipped employees are paid $8/hr for average hours worked.

Schedule

Vary – Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday availability required.
