Bartender

About the role

As a Bartender at AC Hotel Dallas, you will craft exceptional beverage experiences that complement the hotel's modern, European-inspired atmosphere. This role is responsible for preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and encouraged to return. Successful candidates are passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable about beverage preparation, and committed to delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar, lounge, and restaurant guests.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking beverage and food orders while providing attentive service.
• Assess guest preferences and make thoughtful recommendations based on individual tastes.
• Mix, garnish, and serve classic and specialty cocktails according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Create innovative drink offerings while maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all applicable alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and promote responsible beverage service.
• Restock and replenish bar supplies, liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and other inventory as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout service.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation, liquor, wine, and beer service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet all local and state requirements for alcohol service certification.
