Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, fast, and attentive customer service to all guests
- Greet guests promptly and create a positive first impression
- Take beverage and food orders accurately and efficiently
- Build rapport with guests and create memorable dining experiences
- Make menu recommendations and suggestive sales to enhance the guest experience
- Respond professionally to guest questions, concerns, and special requests
- Deliver first-class hospitality in a busy, high-energy restaurant environment
- Prepare and serve cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
- Maintain knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, beer selections, and wine offerings
- Ensure proper drink presentation, garnishes, and glassware standards
- Verify guest identification and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and handle intoxicated guests professionally
- Follow all local and state liquor laws and food safety regulations
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash and credit transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, sanitized, and fully stocked bar area
- Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
- Aid with inventory management, stocking, and replenishment of bar supplies
- Support overall restaurant cleanliness including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and maintaining sanitation standards
- Work collaboratively with servers, cooks, managers, and support staff to ensure smooth operations
- Follow company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused hospitality environment
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical job duties
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform bending, reaching, walking, and stocking tasks
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, outgoing, and guest-oriented personality
