Bartender

About the role

We are seeking a Bartender to join our team at an upscale select-service, extended-stay, or lifestyle hotel managed by OTO Development.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely manner
• Prepare a large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Interact positively with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences while making knowledgeable recommendations
• Check customers’ identification to confirm legal drinking age
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Operate cash registers, collect payments, and return change
• Manage bar operations, including ordering and maintaining liquor and bar supplies

Requirements

• Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
• In-depth knowledge of alcohol, craft cocktail bars, and strong mixology skills
• Ability to stand for up to eight hours
• Effective communication with guests and associates
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable standing, sitting, walking, lifting, and squatting for extended periods
