Bartender

About the role

A Bartender at Not Your Average Joe’s will create memorable guest experiences through attentive service, food and drink recommendations, and a positive attitude. They will be part of a supportive team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and embody the Guest Obsessed culture to provide exceptional guest service.
• Make food and drink recommendations and address all guest inquiries.
• Maintain a friendly rapport with guests and check in regularly to anticipate and address their needs.
• Ensure the bar area is spotlessly clean and sanitary, including maintaining cleanliness of bar stools, high tops, and surrounding floors.
• Handle guests' complaints by listening, reporting to a manager, and resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Meet local legal minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, standing for up to 8 hours.
• Have the skill and coordination to handle tasks such as pouring drinks, carrying multiple dishes, cutting garnishes, etc.
• Maintain a clean working environment and follow company policies regarding guest allergies and intolerances.
• Able to arrive on time, presentable, and dressed appropriately for work.
