About the role

Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming is a newly constructed facility in a high-traffic area in Calvert City, Kentucky, at the intersection of I-69 and I-24. The Property features nearly 240 state-of-the-art historical racing machines ("HRMs"), a sports bar and a retail sportsbook, simulcast wagering, and food and beverage offerings.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks correctly at the bar for all patrons at the bar and on the floor
• Assisting with the cleaning of the bar area and assisting with inventory maintenance
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests
• Responsible for performing "responsible alcohol service" concerning patron limitations and passing any/all responsible alcohol service training
• Responsible for beverage service to all guests, including walking the floor, taking orders from patrons and returning these orders in a timely fashion
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills And Abilities

• Knowledge of all bar equipment, cash registers, and Easy Bar beverage system
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol
• Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel
• Oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to handle high-pressure demands
• Must be able to walk the floor and carry a drink tray
• Must be able to work an alternate schedule with a minimum of two (2) weeks' notice
• Must be available on weekends and holidays

Education And Experience

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior Bartending experience preferred
• Must be able to complete the STAR certification for alcohol service
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
