Broad Description Of Duties
- Prepare beverages for our guests
- Attend to guests and provide an excellent guest experience by interacting with guests, being attentive, taking orders and serving food and drinks
- Follow company food safety policies, as well as those of local regulatory agencies
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items
- Assess guests' needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Verify that guests who purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age
- Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar
- Clean and sanitize all areas in the bar and lounge area for guests and associates
- Monitor and communicate social distancing guidelines
Job Requirements
- Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Willing and motivated to learn new skills and tasks to meet the changing demands of the industry
- Flexibility to work varied shifts to include days and nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- A minimum of six(6) months of work experience
- Ability to learn and use the Aloha Point Of Service System
- Accuracy in transactions and cash-handling skills
- Ability to obtain relevant training certificate and/or licensure
- Ability to follow all cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices as mandated by the company and local regulatory agencies
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls
- The employee is required to stand for long periods of time, and/or walk often
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
