Bartender
About the role
This role as a Bartender is responsible for daily bar operations and enhancing the performance of The Goat bar within their assigned area. The environment requires strong multitasking abilities, as Bartenders must coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house teams, address customer needs, and ensure quality service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of liquor, mixers, garnishes, bar tools at your assigned work area
- Coordinate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
- Address customer needs and ensure quality service while maintaining a professional demeanor
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- ServSafe certification from a nationally recognized organization required
- TABC Certification where applicable
- At least two (2) years of previous bartending experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting are required

Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work with long periods of standing and walking throughout the dining room, kitchen, and service areas. In addition, employees will walk; handle food and beverage objects, reach and extend with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, and crawling; specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to focus.
The employee is exposed to a restaurant environment, including a kitchen area.
Location and Travel
Position will be based in Nashville, TN, Brier Creek, NC, Pflugerville, TX or Columbus, OH with occasional travel to local and out-of-state markets.
