About the Role
As a Bartender at The Addison, you'll play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional drinks, genuine hospitality, and a vibrant atmosphere. As part of the opening team, you'll craft and serve a range of premium cocktails, wines, spirits, coffee, and other beverages while building connections with guests and contributing to the unique energy that makes The Addison one of London's most exciting new hospitality destinations. This is a casual opportunity, offering shifts based on business needs, events and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve expertly crafted cocktails, premium beverages, and refreshments to consistently high quality and presentation standards.
- Deliver engaging, knowledgeable, and personalised service, building rapport with guests and enhancing their overall experience.
- Recommend drinks, pairings, and specials with confidence, using strong product knowledge to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain an organised, well-stocked, and immaculate bar environment while adhering to all food safety, hygiene, licensing, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house, kitchen, and management teams to deliver seamless service and uphold The Addison's exceptional hospitality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in premium, luxury or VIP hospitality is essential, with a strong understanding of delivering personalised guest experiences in high-end venues.
- Strong cocktail-making skills and a passion for food, drink, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
- A confident and engaging personality with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, quality, and professionalism.
- A reliable, positive, and team-focused approach, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late-night service.
