Bartender

Responsibilities

• Mix drinks to order and serve guests
• Have knowledge of all bar drinks and wines

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and guest service skills
• Self-motivated with a professional demeanor
• Able to pass a short bartending test
• Good customer service skills and ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty
• Availability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Education and Experience

Previous bartending experience is preferred. Must be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit check.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent guest service skills, including adherence to Universal Service Standards of proper grooming and appearance
• Basic math skills, including ability to count change and balance a bank
• Effective communication skills, including ability to communicate with guests and receive orders
• Highly motivated, with ability to take initiative, work with others, and work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands

Ability to stand and remain stationary for the entire length of shift, with constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of items and objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions

May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season. Moderate to extreme exposure to noise during events, with possible exposure to vibrations caused by extreme noise and strobe lights/lasers. May also be exposed to chemicals when cleaning locations.
