Responsibilities
- Set up, mix drinks, and clean up the bar area according to company standards.
- Provide guest service while ensuring overall guest satisfaction and profit maximization.
- Maintain quality standards for service and a neat, clean work station at all times.
- Establish and maintain positive professional relationships with co-workers to ensure efficient food and beverage service.
- Communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally.
- Handle money accurately, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to give correct change, balance till, and prepare cash drops.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) computer systems or similar.
- Serve alcohol responsibly and answer guest questions regarding menu items with knowledgeable suggestions.
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Acknowledge, understand, and abide by company programs, policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Present a professional appearance, wear appropriate uniform, and slip-resistant footwear according to company policy.
Requirements
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, including preparation techniques, drink recipes, and substitutions.
- Understanding of state liquor laws and regulations for serving alcohol.
- Familiarity with health codes, food sanitation, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in standard cash handling procedures and basic mathematical skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of bartending experience; hospitality experience preferred.
- Valid Alcohol Server Permit required.
- Valid Food Handlers Permit required.

Pay
$16.80 per hour plus tips and gratuities.
Schedule
Full-time, variable schedule; must be available weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift, carry, crouch, kneel, push, pull, reach, grasp, and see throughout the duration of the shift.
- Visual acuity to analyze written information and view computer terminals.
- Ability to express or exchange information by means of the spoken word.
