Responsibilities
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following recipes and customer requests.
- Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Maintain knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and pairings.
- Suggest drinks based on customer preferences.
- Greet customers and take orders efficiently.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle complaints or concerns professionally.
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary.
- Process payments via cash, credit card, or POS system.
- Manage tabs and ensure accurate billing.
- Restock bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
- Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages.
- Clean and sanitize bar equipment, utensils, and glassware.
- Ensure the bar area is organized and tidy.
- Dispose of trash and follow health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members seamlessly.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
