About the role

Responsible for providing excellent guest service by preparing cocktails and beverages for guests and servers.

Responsibilities

• Takes beverage orders from guests and checks identification to verify age requirements.
• Promote brands and products to increase sales.
• Prepares cocktails and beverages for guests and servers according to recipes and specifications.
• Performs set up and breakdown of bar area as well as side work and projects as needed.
• Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of the bar/work area in accordance with company and health department standards by arranging bottle displays, sweeping, wiping counter tops, removing trash, etc.
• Assists with inventory control, stocking, and proper rotation of product.
• Performs responsible alcohol service with regards to guest limitations.
• Completes monetary transaction using a point-of-sale system by maintaining cash drawer, accepting cash or card for payment, returning correct change, etc.
• Maintains knowledge of all menu items and prices as well as related regulations for drink preparation and storage.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three months’ related experience and/or training in mixing a variety of alcoholic beverages.
• Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certificate.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.
• Physical requirements: stand for duration of shift; frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger, reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; may lift up to 50 pounds; may work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; noise level moderate to loud; work environment may vary in crowds, noise, and smoke.

Pay

$9.00 per hour, plus tips.
