Bartender

About the role

Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interaction while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders are expected to be attentive to the guests’ needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests
• Interact with guests, assess guests’ needs and preferences, make recommendations, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Serve non-bar guests as needed
• Plan and present bar specials menu
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Check guests’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements

• Prior experience Bartender, bar back, barback, server, servers, waiter, waiters, wait staff or other part time FOH restaurant jobs highly desirable.
• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate preferred
