The Bartender at Wachusett Brew Yard serves as a frontline leadership role that ensures smooth service and exceptional guest experiences without formal supervisory duties. This role requires a passion for craft beer, strong restaurant skills, and the ability to energize a team while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests with top-tier customer service and genuine hospitality
• Support and guide front-of-house staff to keep service flowing smoothly
• Pour beers, fill growlers, and talk guests through our offerings with confidence and enthusiasm
• Foster a positive, pride-filled team environment through your presence and example
• Maintain a clean, organized space that reflects our standards and values
• Ensure safety and compliance, including age verification for all alcohol service
• Operate POS system, handle cash drawer with accuracy, and follow opening/closing procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in a high-volume hospitality or bar setting
• Knowledge of craft beer and a curiosity to learn more
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
• A calm, confident presence and a team-first mindset
• Dependability, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes loud or hot/cold environment
• TIPS certification (required)
