Bartender
About the role
Join our team and grow with us both professionally and personally! In this role, you will be responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on requests from residents and guests.
Responsibilities
- Verifying the identification and age of customers when necessary
- Preparing hot and cold menu items
- Using the POS to accept payment or create bill to room charges
- Maintaining overall sanitation of the lounge area
- Balancing cash receipts to record sales
- Entertaining customers who sit at the bar or in the lounge by providing stimulating conversation and excellent customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of bartending school (preferred)
- Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certification required
- 1–3 years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
- Extensive knowledge of common drinks
