Responsibilities

• Must be willing and able to appear on television or to be filmed while performing day-to-day job functions.
• Must be able to interact with high-profile guests and celebrities while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Be a brand advocate by providing guests with accurate information regarding our venues, menus, and pricing.
• Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, and other bar appliances.
• Acknowledges, greets, and converses with customers who approach the bar.
• Prepares and pours all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers upon request, providing they have a Union Pour Card.
• Processes all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change accurately, while presenting the customer with a bar receipt.
• Converts cash to coin for any customers playing the slot machines in the bar area.
• Must not work out of another person’s cash drawer and must follow the Cash Handling Policy.

Requirements

• 6 months prior Bartender or Bar Apprentice experience.
• At least 1-year previous money handling position.
• Knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
• Effective communication in English, both verbal and written, in a professional manner.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Ability to interact with customers, the public, and co-workers.
• Teamwork with other staff members.
• Ability to accurately count money and provide change.
• Schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Additional Requirements

• Fast-paced, high-volume environment involving constant public interaction.
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 15-20 lbs repeatedly.
• Shifts may vary based on business needs.
• Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
